We have plenty of discounts on here for you money saving students... here's a quick guide into what we have available!
Discount cards: If you own one of our student discount cards, or a card powered by us, you can use your card all over the country in-store at places such as Topshop, Office, Bella Italia...
Cashback: Earn cash back on the money you spend online. Click here for find out more... this could save you hundreds and hundreds of pounds each year!
Voucher codes: We updated these daily allowing you to take advantage of the awesome offers on the net.
Printable vouchers: Some retailers ask you to use this thing call paper to get a discount (so last year)... but if it saves you some cash, we're all for it!
I'm a student but don't yet have my .ac.uk email address.
You can still register for an account, use the cashback, downloadable vouchers and voucher codes, but you won't be able to order your student discount card until you get hold of the .ac.uk email address. Once you have it, click 'My account' and there will be a place to add it.
Why do I need to give you my postcode?
We need your postcode to help us know what discounts to show you! We can show you all of the local discounts and special offers that are close to where you live and go to University... it's as simple as that!
I have a NatWest student account, how can I use this website?
You need to register your young persons railcard or order your free student discount card (you just pay for the p&p). Click here and the following the registration process where you'll be guided through... it takes only a few minutes!
What is cashback? How does cashback work?
Cashback is simply when you earn cash back from buying something online. If the cashback rate is 10% and you buy something for £50 you'll get £5 cash back into your account on studentdiscounts.co.uk that you can then choose to withdraw to your bank account.
What do the cashback terms mean?
Pending: We have tracked your order with the retailer and it's currently being processed.
Approved: Confirmation has been received from the retailer and we're awaiting payment from them so we can pass it onto you!
Awaiting receipt: This is the total summary of what we're waiting to receive from the retailer(s). This amount is yet to be included in your awaiting balance (see below).
Received: We have received your cashback from the retailer and this has been added to your available balance.
Declined: Your transaction and cashback has been declined. Please contact us if you require further clarification on this.
Awaiting balance: This is the amount available to be withdrawn from your cashback account into your bank account.
Withdraw funds: This is the process of withdrawing the funds from your available balance into your bank account.
I have money in my cashback account, how can I withdraw it?
Once you have £15 in your cashback account, go to 'My cashback options' on your cashback page and enter your paypal details. If you don't have a Paypal account, it's free to get one and it take 2 minutes. We've chosen to use Paypal as it's extremely secure and you can then transfer your money into your current account... to be spend on whatever you like! Have a night out on us!
I can't find the discounts I want - what can I do about it?
If there are discounts and offers you'd like to get with certain stores and retailers, and you can't find them on studentdiscounts.co.uk, please do let us know and we'll do our best to get in touch with them to negotiate a fantastic discount for all members to enjoy!
