Studentdiscounts.co.uk began life in 2000 as Discounts247.co.uk, a student discount website aimed at those studying in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. As relationships grew with retailers, and additional cities introduced, the name change to Studentdiscounts.co.uk launched a new and improved brand in September 2003.

Approaching it’s 10th birthday, studentdiscounts.co.uk is one of the largest loyalty organisations in the UK with 500,000 active card holders.

Key partners to studentdiscounts.co.uk include NatWest and RBS, both of which offer a free student discount card powered by studentdiscounts.co.uk to their student account holders, UNITE student accommodation and various Universities and Student Unions across the UK.

The company continues to expand through introducing new features such as cashback to all members along with a further reach into local and national retailers, by expanding it’s already extensive 30 student cities.
